Doctor of Chiropractic | Co-Founder of FLOW Health Centre

Dr. Shyla Robertson Bitz is a Doctor of Chiropractic, Acupuncture provider, and co-founder of FLOW Health Centre in Regina.

She knew from a young age that she wanted to become a chiropractor. Her lifelong interest in health, healing, movement, and the body’s natural intelligence has shaped both her clinical work and the way she teaches patients to better understand their own bodies.

Before attending chiropractic college, Dr. Shyla studied in the Faculty of Education at the University of Regina. This early foundation in teaching continues to influence her care today. She values helping patients understand what may be contributing to their symptoms, how different systems in the body are connected, and what kinds of support may help the body restore, regulate, and heal.

Dr. Shyla graduated magna cum laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 2005. During her clinical internship, she worked with children, athletes, and families, developing an early interest in whole-person and family-centred care. She completed her acupuncture training through Acupuncture Canada in 2008 and has continued to study widely in areas that support her integrated approach.

Her continuing education has included pregnancy and pediatric care, pelvic health, sports and movement, nutrition, yoga, functional medicine, mind-body health, herbalism, nervous system regulation, and lymphatic health.

At FLOW, Dr. Shyla’s practice blends chiropractic care, acupuncture, functional health insight, and a whole-person understanding of the spine, pelvis, nervous system, lymphatic health, and whole-body function. Her approach draws from both Western and Eastern perspectives, combining evidence-informed care with holistic healing.

She works with patients through many stages of life, including pregnancy, postpartum, pediatric and family care, pelvic and nervous system patterns, pain, stress-related symptoms, digestion, hormonal transitions, lymphatic congestion patterns, and complex health stories that benefit from a more integrated lens.

Dr. Shyla brings attentive presence to her care, helping patients feel both clearly guided and deeply listened to. Her work is grounded in the belief that healing is not about forcing the body into change, but learning to listen to what the body has been trying to communicate. She sees symptoms not as failures, but as signals — invitations to understand the body’s deeper patterns and support its natural movement toward regulation, repair, and flow.

As a co-founder of FLOW Health Centre, Dr. Shyla helps hold the clinic’s vision for grounded, individualized care that supports spine, pelvic and nervous system health, family wellbeing, and whole-body function. She brings a strong teaching lens, a deep respect for the body’s wisdom, and a quiet commitment to helping patients feel seen, supported, and empowered in their care.

Outside of the clinic, Shyla is most often outdoors with her husband, Scott, and their three daughters. She loves family life, sport, nature, gardening, seasonal food, and the ongoing study of health and healing.
